UK Vaccine Ranking Plan Has Been Announced
The UK announced the action plan prepared in case the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine is ready. As we have mentioned in our yesterday’s news, Pfizer gave hope to the whole world with its ready vaccine that can cure the virus with a 90% chance. Now the complex part left is the distribution of the vaccine.
It was determined that the priority in vaccination in the UK would be the elderly. Due to regulation, Queen Elizabeth II ranks second due to her age group.
Britain’s Deputy Chief Physician Professor Jonathan Van Tam said, “At the top of our priority list are nursing home residents and people working in nursing homes. Vaccination is planned to give priority to those who urgently need it, not those who can afford it’’
All members of the British Royal Family, especially Queen Elizabeth II, are not privileged in coronavirus vaccine. The first priority in vaccination is planned to be given to the residents and employees of nursing homes.
94-year-old Queen Elizabeth II is also in the group 80 and over, which includes the second priorities.

Who is Ron Klain?
Klain, who provided senior advisory service to Biden throughout the election process, also served as an advisor in the election campaigns of former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and Democratic presidential candidates Al Gore, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton. He was also the White House’s coordinator in fighting Ebola.

Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, did not resign until the deadline given by the opposition. His call was not accepted, while the opposition calls for an extraordinary meeting of parliament. The meeting planned for the dismissal of Pashinyan could not be held, as a sufficient majority was not achieved in the parliament.
Russian peacekeers have arrived to Nagorno-Karabagh to maintain safety of both nations.
The peacekeepers are going to be controlling the safety of the Lachin corridor, a key connection between Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh region, said the chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, Sergei Rudskoy.
Also, it has been stated that Turkey and Russia will be having a joint center in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, as the peacemakers, as in some cities now owned by Azerbaijan, Armenians can also reside if they wish too, holding an Azerbaijani passport.
