JP Morgan said that the fair price of Bitcoin is around $38,000.
JP Morgan strategists led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou have set the ‘fair price’ for Bitcoin 12 percent below the current market price, based on the resulting volatility compared to gold.
They calculated the fair value at around $38,000, based on Bitcoin’s roughly 4x greater volatility than gold. If volatility in Bitcoin narrows to 3 times below the volatility, the fair value will rise to $50,000.
Panigirtzoglou updated the long-term theoretical price target for Bitcoin from $146K to $150K.
