As the energy crisis continues to affect Europe, there are increasing signals that Russia will refrain from helping to ease the problem. Saudis Raise Oil Prices
Saudi Arabia sharply increased the price of the oil it sells in the USA, Asia, and Europe, responding negatively to the call of US President Joe Biden to OPEC+ members to accelerate oil production increases and stop the rise in prices.
On Friday, Saudi Aramco increased the price of Arab Light grade oil to its Asian customers by $1.40 to $2.70 for December.
This was the third-highest monthly increase of the current century.
